The floor was running two 5 HP conventional splits, 24 hours a day, over about 1,000 sq ft — for a measured RM3,000 a month in electricity. Then they extended it to 1,830 sq ft under a 12 ft ceiling.
The conventional path was to bolt on a third 5 HP unit — 15 HP total — and watch the bill climb with the square footage. Instead they pulled out both old units and put in a single 7 HP SystemAir to cover the whole enlarged floor.
Installed June 2026. A bigger floor, now cooled on one 7 HP unit — less installed horsepower than simply 'adding a third unit' would have carried.
