Does temperature and humidity really affect print registration?
Yes — paper is hygroscopic, so it expands and curls as humidity changes, and that moves registration between passes. Holding a stable ambient keeps the stock dimensionally steady through the run.
Can you hold a stable ambient over a large press hall?
That's the job. Long-throw copper-free units cover a wide, high hall evenly from a few points, so the whole floor — not just one corner — stays steady.
How many units does a print floor need?
It depends on the hall and press heat, but copper-free does more per HP, so coverage costs less to run than conventional AC. The calculator estimates it; the assessment confirms.
