A new CNC precision floor in Valdor — 2,000 sq ft running around the clock in Penang's heat, sitting at 32°C before any cooling went in. CNC precision doesn't forgive that; accuracy and part tolerance drift when the environment isn't held stable.
The conventional plan was three 5 HP splits — 15 HP total, around RM21,000 in equipment before installation, then the bill of running 15 HP forever. We proposed one 7 HP SystemAir, wall-mounted at the centre of the floor. The owner's first reaction was disbelief.
Five months on, the answer is on the floor: a stable 24°C at 45–48% RH, right inside CNC tolerance, held through the hottest part of the year with zero service failures — and the cost of two extra units avoided outright. Water-cooled PVC lets one right-sized unit do what three copper-piped splits were planned to do.
